Shot down during late 1944, these are the first photo's of a Lancaster as it lies in it's watery grave on the bed of Lake Muritz in Germany. To date it's identity remains unknown, and due to the 'marine life' attached to the fuselage, identification is going to be extremely difficult. Further dives are planned for 2001
